Brackets and Jam Kincumber Mountain
Brackets and Jam is a regular monthly event, featuring “brackets” of local music and performance interspersed with drum “jams" and open mic opportunities. Their Brackets South event takes place on top of beautiful Kincumba Mountain. The community built venue is a mud brick and natural timber building which sits in a bushland reserve, with panoramic views of Brisbane water and magnificent sunsets over the hills beyond. This venue is the birthplace of Brackets and Jam on the Central Coast and the community considers it as it's spiritual home. The Mountain itself holds a strong significance for their Aboriginal community, and has been a long standing meeting place for Central Coast people. The rock outcrop situated in front of the kiosk forms a natural pool which is said to have once been a sacred birthing place for women. The Mountain now gives birth to many new beginnings as the hub of creative community arts in the southern Central Coast region.

Patonga Beach Easter Saturday Fete
The Patonga Progress Association is once again holding their annual fundraising Easter Saturday Fete. The fete will feature arts, crafts, antiques and collectibles, jewellery and market stalls from local Central Coast traders. Also on sale will be a selection of homemade cakes, preserves, plants, books, bric-a-brac, gifts and much more. The barbecue will be fired up selling mouth watering sausage sandwiches. Wyong Community Choir
Wyong locals, Travellers and Tourists welcome, join the choir for a night or longer, and make some musical memories. Their fully sponsored rehearsal venue at The Wyong Neighbourhood Centre, is a community space and Non-profit organization. The fully inclusive Wyong Community Choir will meet at the centre which has comfortable seating and a lovely acoustic hall for the choir to use. The choir is led by local performer, comedian and arts director Sandy Bigara. Sandy is the conductor of the PVL Aged Choir in Umina, and the Gosford Community Choir in Gosford and runs Sandy Bigara Arts and Entertainment, and The StarViking. There will be a focus on fun, the song list for 2018 is full to the brim with firm favourites. Each session includes vocal training and development, motivating, welcoming and encouraging singers of all skill levels. Sandy’s focus is on providing positive, happy and safe musical learning experiences for adults and children on the Central Coast. Wyong Lakes Festival
The beautiful Tuggerah Lakes area will be taken over by more than 30 free events when the award winning Wyong Lakes Festival makes a big second year splash during November. The nine day Festival is supported by Central Coast Council and will feature a program of sporting, family, cultural, educational, art and live music events on and surrounding the Tuggerah Lakes catchment area. Brassed Off was a successful comedy/drama film starring Peter Postlethwaite and Ewan McGregor. Adapted for the stage and incorporating a full brass band, Wyong Drama Group present The Australasian Premiere (Professional or Amateur) of the stage play. Winner of Percy Grainger Second Prize at the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition, young Russian pianist Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev is performing at 16 venues in regional cities across Australia including the Central Coast Conservatorium’s City of Gosford. The Program include Mozart’s Fantasia in D minor K.397, Chopin’s Berceuse Op.57 Rachmaninoff’s Six Moments Musicaux Op.16 and more. Arseny studied piano at the age of four and made his public debut at the age of nine with the Bryansk City Chamber Orchestra. In April 2018 Arseny made his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra with Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto and later this year toured Europe under the baton of sir Roger Norrington with Beethoven’s Fifth Piano Concert. An exclusive recording artist for Deeca Classics and Universal Music, Arseny’s debut album ‘Moments Musicaux’ has recently been release to coincide with his Australia tour. Firefly Magic Twilight Festival Season

Harvest Festival Central Coast

Five Lands Walk
Five Lands Walk is a moderately easy walk that follows the spectacular Central Coast coastline for nine kilometres from MacMasters Beach to Terrigal, and includes free cultural and fun events near the Surf Clubs at each of the beaches including Copacabana, Avoca and North Avoca. The Walk is timed to occur shortly after the winter solstice, to celebrate the coming of the warmer season and longer days. This is also the time of year when the humpback whales northern migration is well underway and may be seen from the shore line.

The Ourimbah trails will offer really "old-school" race tracks that will be fun to explore! Why Superflow? Because the race tracks are picked by the Rocky Trail crew so that they give the riders that "super flowy" feeling! Each timed section demands different skill sets of the riders - from tricky sections around rocks and tight corners to flowy berms and quick stints that needed pedal power and endurance. No start order, no worries! These events are unique Australia-wide in that they can offer an awesome day out to a wide range of riders - from elite to amateur racers to families, couples and groups of friends riding together. A very flexible timing system means no start orders and riders can pick the sequence in which to complete the timed race stages themselves. The Bays Art Show

Davistown Putt Regatta and Wooden Boat Festival
The Davistown Putt Putt Regatta and Wooden Boat Festival is a great event and also an opportunity for the people to celebrate the Central Coast and the culture that is a part of history, heritage and local character. Many putt-putt boats are still in use on Brisbane Water today. Putt-putt boats usually range in length from 14-18 feet and are powered by either single or twin cylinder two to 10 hp Blaxland/Chapman, Simplex or Clay inboard petrol driven engines all of which make the very familiar putt-putt exhaust sound. Boats today will also often be powered by small one or two cylinder diesel engines. The Regatta is now one of the principal events on the Gosford City calendar. The Davistown Putt Putt Regatta and Wooden Boat Festival attracts a huge amount of quality putt putts travelling from as far as Queensland and the ACT. They also look to provide a family focussed day where the local community and visitors can have an enjoyable day in a safe and family friendly environment. The Regatta has the reputation of being the largest event of its kind on the eastern seaboard.
