Carols by Candlelight by The Entrance
The annual Carols by Candlelight celebrations will be held on Christmas Eve at The Entrance. Come along and join this very special evening under the stars. The main focus of the evening will be the traditional carols performed by the Tuggerah Lakes Show Band, a specially formed choir from local primary schools and members of local theatre groups. Five Lands Walk
Five Lands Walk is a moderately easy walk that follows the spectacular Central Coast coastline for nine kilometres from MacMasters Beach to Terrigal, and includes free cultural and fun events near the Surf Clubs at each of the beaches including Copacabana, Avoca and North Avoca. The Walk is timed to occur shortly after the winter solstice, to celebrate the coming of the warmer season and longer days. Fox Rollercoaster Superflow Series Round Four, sealed by Stan's
The Fox Rollercoaster #Superflow Series 2017 sealed by Stan's will come to Ourimbah MTB Park near Wyong on the NSW Central Coast for Round Four. Why #Superflow? The race tracks are picked so that they give the riders that "super flowy" feeling! Each track will demand different skill sets of the riders - from tricky sections around rocks and tight corners to flowy berms and quick stints that needed pedal power and endurance. This is a mountain bike event that is a competitive race but still very social - you will ride in neutral to the starts of the three race tracks and the combined race times will count. In-official practice will be offered on the Saturday, race day is Sunday with all trails open for exploring and practice in the morning. The "Central Coast Pro" is the third stop of the NSW Pro Surf Series located at Avoca Beach Beach. Opera in the Arboretum
Opera in the Arboretum is an open air festival of top Australian opera singers, held amongst the gum trees and kookaburras in the Pearl Beach Crommelin Native Arboretum. The Patonga Progress Association is once again holding their annual fundraising Easter Saturday Fete. The fete will feature arts, crafts, antiques and collectibles, jewellery and market stalls from local Central Coast traders. Visitors to the Gosford Regional Show will be able to see and enjoy many aspects at this family orientated event. Competition elements include art, lapidary, bees, cat show, schools competition, display of farm animals, cake decorating and other sections. Ring events for show horses and riders will be held on the arena from 8.30am to 3pm on both days of the Show. This Agricultural Show seeks to maintain the traditions of the past while showcasing the rural and other aspects that are active and relevant to the community today.
