The acclaimed Bello Winter Music festival uses existing infrastructure within picturesque township of Bellingen, reinforcing the community vibe and reflecting the sustainability consciousness of the organisers. Westfield National Youth Championships for Girls
The National Youth Championships are FFA’s primary national football competition for the 13 and 15 Years Girls. Hosted by Northern NSW Football, the Westfield National Youth Championships for Girls have been held in Coffs Harbour since 2006. The Championships are an integral part of the FFA National youth development and identification process providing a showcase for the best 13 and 15 year old girls from all States. South Solitary Island Exclusive Helicopter Tour
Fly by helicopter and land on South Solitary Island which is located 18 kilometres from Coffs Harbour. Rarely does an opportunity like this present itself as it is normally closed to the public. Inspect the lighthouse keepers quarters which were built in 1880 and imagine living in this isolated outpost. The lighthouse and keepers quarters were built in 1880 are the oldest in the area, the lighthouse was automated in 1975 with all residents leaving the island. The only way to access the island is by helicopter and public access is restricted to these open days only. Included in this fantastic offer is an interpretive guided walking tour for one or two hours by National Parks and Wildlife Rangers and return helicopter flights. Be one of the lucky few visitors to have ascended the ancient spiral staircase of the lighthouse to finally step out onto the narrow balcony suspended some 50 metres above the raging ocean below. The public are only allowed access for two weekends per year.

Made with Love Markets are the first and only dedicated boutique handmade market for the Coffs Harbour region. Starting in August 2011, they are one of the biggest dedicated markets on the North Coast! They aim to showcase handmade, local, boutique and unique items made with love. Coffs Harbour Running Festival
The Bendigo Bank Coffs Harbour Running Festival is a community event for people of all ages and abilities and consists of a 21.1 kilometre half marathon, 10 kilometre fun run, five kilometre fun run, and a three kilometre family fun run/walk. Held on a bush trail on the Coffs Creek Walkway, the flat, shady course is ideal for runners. The picturesque track hugs the beautiful Coffs Creek and competitors run over floating boardwalks, through swamp forests of mangrove, casuarina and paperbark trees, from the centre of town to the coast and back. The event raises funds for local children's charities including Life Education Australia, Coffs Coast Autism, Camp Quality, Early Connections Coffs Harbour and St John Ambulance.

Curryfest celebrates the unique Punjabi heritage of Woolgoolga, immediately obvious from the Sikh temple on the hill as you enter town. Beachside Radiology Coffs Ocean Swims
The Beachside Radiology Coffs Ocean Swims are a fun, charity fundraising event offering participants a choice of distances catering for both the novice and the more competitive with a 600 metre swim around the iconic jetty structure, 2,000 metre swim across the harbour and fun races for children, all held inside the beautiful, protected harbour. Coffs Harbour is the ideal location for an ocean swim, being one of the only open water swims to be held inside a protected harbour. The iconic 300 metre long jetty also provides the perfect birds-eye viewing platform for spectators. Events include a 600 metre Jetty Swim (ages 10 plus); 2,000 metre Harbour Swim (ages 12 plus); 150 metre swim for eight to 10 year olds; and a 300 metre swim for 11 to 14 year olds. Founded in 1990, the DEAE celebrates the areas wonderful artistic talent in an exhibition open to everyone living on The Dorrigo Plateau. The Dorrigo Easter Arts Exhibition (DEAE) brings together all these communities on the Dorrigo Plateau.
