How good is it to take a basket to the Farmers Market and fill it with fresh, organic, locally-grown food? This is the old idea of a market to support local growers and feed the townsfolk, refreshed and updated to include the innovative alongside the traditional. Byron’s produce includes both tropical and temperate fruit and vegetables, as well as meat, eggs, coffee and a whole range of gourmet items to enhance your cuisine. Lotus Cafe – Crystal Castle
Indulge in delicious views, local coffee and food. The Lotus Cafe overlooks the Byron hinterland and beautiful grounds of the Crystal Castle. Including local produce, our menu is fresh made daily by renowned local chefs, offering nutritious snacks, meals, desserts, cakes and organic coffee. All chicken and eggs are free-range, and there are other organic options.
As an endeavour to lower our carbon footprint and expand on our castle grown organic café produce, we have created our very own Organic Food Farm, here on the Crystal Castle grounds which we are harvesting from daily.
We also have an ever changing variety of fresh cakes and sweets. From muffins and scones to desserts and cakes our freshly made cakes vary to include – chocolate cheesecake, gluten-free orange and almond cake, citrus tart, pecan pie, blueberry muffins, chocolate hazelnut torte, blueberry and almond pie.

The Farm Byron Bay
The Farm Byron Bay offers a truly unique experience. Visitors can see first hand how we grow organic produce, hand make our award winning products, then step into the café and enjoy a true paddock to plate menu. Quite simply, our food on the Farm Byron Bay travels by foot to our production shed. From there we box up our members’ fruit, herbs & vegetables and we service our organic farm café with breakfast & lunch menu items.
