DAY 1

The morning

Enjoy breakfast soaking in the views at Beach Bums Café right on Forster Main Beach. Take the Bicentennial Walk up to Second Head, along the coastal path past Pebbly Beach and “The Tanks”. A final climb brings you to Bennett’s Head, a large viewing platform with breathtaking views of the entire coastline. Hop onto the Amaroo daily dolphin and whale watch cruise.

For lunch

Visit the vibrant town centre in Forster for lunch either al-fresco style or beach side.  Or pick up some of the best takeaway fish and chips you’ll ever have and enjoy your own picnic lunch by the lake.

The afternoon

Hire a boat or stand up paddle board from one of the many boat sheds and experience the aqua blue waters of Wallis Lake first hand.

DAY 2

The morning

Head out to Cape Hawke Lookout. A short climb will take you to a tower offering spectacular 360 degree views across the whole region. Travel south to Pacific Palms. Follow the ‘loop’ road past the three famous surf beaches of Elizabeth, Boomerang and Blueys.

The afternoon

Drive out to iconic Seal Rocks village and visit the historic Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse. With shipwreck sites and grey nurse sharks – the diving here is also first class.  Dive or snorkel around the coastline.

Stay the night

Choose to stay in a converted Light Keeper’s cottage, luxury eco-lodge, remote holiday park or get back to nature at one of the secluded campsites scattered throughout the Myall Lakes National Park.
