Murwillumbah – The Rainforest Way

Traversing the ancient volcanic caldera of Wollumbin Mount Warning and the peaks of the Scenic Rim, The Rainforest Way explores the landscape, lifestyle and extraordinary diversity of the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves of Australia, a biodiversity hotspot.

The Rainforest Way is a series of loops and trails connecting 14 World Heritage listed National Parks in northern New South Wales and South East Queensland.

The flexibility of short loops or longer trails gives visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the spectacular World Heritage rainforests, National Parks and the enchanting hinterland of the Northern Rivers and South East Queensland.

The Rainforest Way is accessible from The Legendary Pacific Coast for north or south bound travellers, linking the towns of Casino, Kyogle, Rathdowney, Beaudesert, Nerang, Canungra, Murwillumbah, Woodburn, Uki, Nimbin, Lismore and Coraki.
