Gloucester to Taree – Tourist Drive 2
The Bucketts Way is named after the prominent mountains behind Gloucester and is about 149kms long. It joins Raymond Terrace in the south with Gloucester and Taree. Travelling eastwards from Gloucester, follow Burcketts Way towards Taree and Forster. About 4kms out is Mograni Lookout, views from here afford some stunning photographs out over the region!
About half way between Gloucester and Taree you will find Krambach, a hillside village in a picturesque rural setting offering
a variety of country experiences in and around the village. A wonderful attraction of this area is the true country golf course,
known affectionately by the locals as Royal Krambach, which is fenced off around the greens from cattle and kangaroos!
The 9 hole Krambach Golf Course is available for social play or competition. There is also the Commercial Hotel, with its friendly atmosphere. As you head along Tourist Drive 2, you can either turn off and go to Wingham via Burrell Creek or take in the riverside town of Tinonee. Tinonee was one of the earliest settlements in the Manning and the unique Tinonee Museum offers a step back in time and the Deep Water Shark Gallery on Peverill Street shows local indigenous artworks available for sale. From here it is a short 10 minute drive to the centre of Taree.Add to my itinerary
