Bunker Cartoon Gallery
The Bunker Cartoon Gallery is housed in an authentic underground World War II bunker (built in 1943) that has been converted into a unique exhibition space. The gallery is the keeping place of the Rotary Cartoon Collection, one of the largest contemporary cartoon collections in the southern hemisphere! The gallery also provides exhibition space for local and emerging artists, as well as touring shows of cultural interest. Open Monday to Saturday – admission $2 adults, $1 for children.

Dolphin Marine Magic (Pet Porpoise Pool)
Visit the ‘must see’, multi-award winning Dolphin Marine Magic and be touched by magic! Receive fishy kisses from a dolphin and a tickly smooch from a seal before the ‘Marine Magic’ presentation at 9:30am and 12:30pm everyday (3:30pm NSW Summer School Holidays). Pat and play with the dolphins beside the pool and feed a seal before the show. Dorrigo National Park and Rainforest Centre
Take a bird’s eye view from the Skywalk and explore the ancient Gondwana World Heritage rainforests on easy walking tracks. Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve
No visit to Coffs Harbour is complete if you haven’t been to Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve. Also know as Giidany Miirlarl, this precious seabird rookery at Coffs Harbour’s heart is enveloped by spectacular views from coast to islands.

Nymboi-Binderay National Park
The dramatic granite gorges and rainforest-lined banks of the rugged Nymboida River produce rapids renowned among white-water enthusiasts. Rafting is certainly the best way to fully appreciate the stunning beauty of the river, and commercial operators conduct tours in the park. If walking is more to your taste, you can wander through a magnificent stand of tallowwood trees and coachwood rainforest. Opportunities for picnicking, swimming and car-based camping (not suitable for caravans) are also available.

Orara East State Forest
Orara East State Forest is a stunning forest close to Coffs Harbour. This unique forest is home to beautiful Bruxner Park Flora Reserve, Halfway Picnic Point, rainforest walking trails, Sealy Lookout and the spectacular Forest Sky Pier. The pier is an impressive structure stretching out over the forest canopy, offering panoramic views over the Coffs coastline, north and south over mountain ranges.
